It’s almost May so that means it’s time for another month of delicious THM dinner meals to be planned out. I find that this time of year is VERY important for me to have a meal plan because it is a busier time of year for our family. Sports are starting back up, end of school year activities and projects are taking place and the weather is turning nicer so we naturally want to be outside more thus requiring me to be more on top of it for dinner.
Now that the weather is turning nicer I decided to switch the soup category to a salad one. I will keep it that way until fall and then switch back to soups. For now, I love the change of pace as the produce in the next few months is always so good!
If you’ve followed any of my dinner meal plans I’m sure you’ve noticed that I break down each day into a food category. This helps me immensely with planning and looking for specific types of recipes. May’s categories are:
Sunday – Asian
Monday – Mexican
Tuesday – Instant Pot or Slow Cooker
Wednesday – Italian
Thursday – Salad
Friday – Pizza
Saturday – Hodgepodge
For the month of May, I’ll be using three cookbooks – Trim Healthy Future, Trim Healthy Table , Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook. I also have a few online recipes mixed in as well.

As always, a shopping list is included with these dinner meal plans. My goal is to make it as easy as possible for you and your family to stay on plan.
This meal plan covers five weeks. I find that it helps me to have five full weeks planned out, that way if I don’t get my meal plan done before the first of the month I have a couple of days of leeway in there.
***I have a family of 7 so these meals all serve at least 7. Many of the meals leave leftovers even for my size family.***
